Painsley Teaching School Alliance
Painsley Teaching School Alliance (PTSA) consists of a diverse range of partners, including primary schools, secondary schools, special schools and two universities. We work collaboratively with schools in Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Derbyshire, sharing our outstanding practice, providing training and CPD, driving school improvement and training new teachers. Painsley Catholic College was designated as a national Teaching School in March 2014. This status recognises our strong track record of working collaboratively to support the development of other schools locally, regionally and nationally. Our alliance encompasses a wide range of primary and secondary schools with School Direct and Level 6 apprentices. In addition the Teaching School is a NQT Appropriate Body and delivers Pupil Premium reviewer training and Pupil Premium reviews. Furthermore, we offer a wide range of professional development at all levels through the NPQ programmes and bespoke SLE and NLE support. The Teaching School is an advocate of promoting aspirant Women Leading in Education across the West Midlands and the work of the North Mods Maths Hub.
